After graduating Dental school in 2015 at the University of Leuven in Belgium (KULeuven), Amandine started working in a private dental surgery near Antwerp, Belgium. She gained a lot of experience working with children and in rehabilitation dentistry while working there for 2 years alongside a paedodontist and implantologist.
Late 2017, she moved to the UK as she followed her long-time partner who works here and in 2018 started working for Castle Rising Dental Surgery. At first temporarily, but eventually she stayed as she admired the values of the surgery, which include giving the best care to patients and having a harmonious team spirit.
She likes the hands-on type of work and being able to learn every day in every field of dentistry.
“Dentistry is a big passion of mine. I feel I am lucky to be able to work together with my colleagues at Castle Rising Dental Surgery.
Outside of general dentistry, Amandine works for King’s College London as part of a research team on facial nerve injuries.
She also has a second passion in her spare time, which is horses. She is lucky to be able to call herself the happy horse-owner of a very sweet chestnut gelding. In her spare time she also tries to stay fit and go to the gym or go for a swim. She speaks several languages including her mother tongue Flemish and also French, Dutch and English of course. She enjoys the social and cultural aspect of living in London and likes travelling.
